Here is today's tip to keep you from sounding like a moron: Don't say that you're "nauseous" when you mean "nauseated." Now, yes, some people truly are nauseous, but I don't think they'd ever admit that. To be clear: "nauseous" means "causing nausea," and "nauseated" means "feeling nausea." So, unless you're a Republican, you are probably nauseated, not nauseous.
